Five-goal tally and acrobacy – Ibrahimovic’s encouraging record vs. Udinese

By Isak Möller -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will play from the first minute in AC Milan’s clash against Udinese this evening. It will be his first start in over a year and his previous record in this fixture bodes well for the game.

Ibrahimovic has fully recovered from knee surgery and after two appearances off the bench, he has now done enough to earn himself a starting spot. Olivier Giroud’s suspension opened up the possibility and the Swede is ready to take it.

If history can teach us anything, it’s worth mentioning that the 41-year-old has a very good record against Udinese. In fact, he has been involved in five goals in his last four games against Udinese in Serie A (3 goals and 2 assists).

In total, he has four goals and three assists against Udinese and he has never lost against them in his career. It’s also worth noting that two of his last three goals against Udinese have been acrobatic overhead kicks.
