CM: The four players who could leave Milan in January and the plan for each

By Oliver Fisher -

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are planning their moves ahead of the January transfer window and that also includes some potential exits.

A month from the reopening of the transfer window, Calciomercato.com report that there are four players currently on the list of those who might leave, and they have broken down the situation for each of the quartet.

Yacine Adli: He arrived in the summer but so far has one start to his name after a positive preseason. Milan’s idea is to let him leave on loan for the second part of the season with the aim of finding more playing time. There are several interested clubs in France, but the Rossoneri would prefer to keep him in Serie A where Cremonese, Torino and Sampdoria are keen.

Marko Lazetic: The January 2022 signing has just eight minutes of first team action this season (away against Cremonese) but has five goals in eight Primavera games. Milan believe he is ready for senior football and are ready to evaluate possible loan offers, with Cremonese and Sampdoria among the possible destinations, as well as the Eredvisie.

Fode Ballo-Toure: His situation is on stand-by, at least while he is at the World Cup with Senegal who qualified for the round of 16. Ballo-Toure is not considered a player for sale, but neither is he non-transferable, so if a convincing offer arrives he could leave. In the summer both Galatasaray and OGC Nice came forward but neither of the two bids convinced Milan, who want a permanent deal and one that generates a capital gain.

Tiemoue Bakayoko: Milan signed him on a two-year loan for €500k with an option to buy set at €15m which would become an obligation on his 15th appearance of 45 minutes or more (to date he is stuck on seven). The club are trying to terminate the agreement with Chelsea six months in advance. Maldini already tried to do so a year ago but was met with Bakayoko’s negative response, now the player could be convinced.
