From Croatia: Milan star Rebic will miss out on international duty after criticising manager

By Isak Möller -

Ante Rebic can get a bit hot-headed at times, which hasn’t exactly gone unnoticed during his time with Milan. It seems his temperament has got him in trouble again, if the latest reports are true.

The No.12 took part in the Euros with Croatia earlier this summer and it wasn’t a success for the country, knocked out in the round of 16. Rebic didn’t do too well either and seemingly blamed it on the manager afterwards.

According to the Croatian outlet Sportske Novosti, Croatia manager Zlatko Dalic has decided not to include Rebic in the squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers. The reason? The winger criticised the manager on Instagram after the Euros exit.

As the report adds, Rebic has good intentions but his personality also means he has smaller or bigger outbursts from time to time. It remains to be seen if he can make up with the manager and return if things go well with Milan this summer.
