From Higuain to Ramsey: the Juve players who could miss Milan clash

By Nikita Fesyukov -

The resumption of football in Italy is approaching and everything will be kicked off with a classic encounter between AC Milan and Juventus at the Allianz Stadium in the second leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final. However, some players could miss this much-anticipated clash.

Stefano Pioli will have to deal with the absence of three very important players: Theo Hernandez, Samu Castillejo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Moreover, the result from the first leg will oblige the Rossoneri to attack, as it will be necessary to score a goal at the Allianz Stadium in order to have a chance to qualify to the final of the competition.

Maurizio Sarri might also miss several players next Friday. As reported by ANSA (via milannews.it), Aaron Ramsey did not take part in the group training today and only underwent a personalized program this morning. The goal is to have him available for the match, but at this point, his start is uncertain.

The midfielder was not the only one unavailable, as Giorgio Chiellini, Gonzalo Higuain and Merih Demiral also continued with personalized work. Out of these, Demiral is certain to miss the match as he is recovering from a long-term ACL injury.
