AC Milan are pushing to sign a striker this mercato, more specifically Santiago Gimenez, but negotiations with Feyenoord are proving to be difficult. This was highlighted on the front pages of today’s newspapers in Italy.
Gimenez has been one of the Rossoneri’s top targets for quite some time and given the poor start to the season, an attempt is underway to bring him in early. Of course, with Feyenoord still fighting for a good position in the Champions League, they don’t want to sell him now.
Of course, money can change everyone’s mind and Milan are making a serious attempt to convince the Dutch side. An agreement is already in place with the player, and perhaps he could be the next signing after Kyle Walker.
The front pages
Gazzetta dello Sport
👀 “Gimenez, agreement with Milan. Attempt to sign the Mexican bomber.”
😬 “However, Feyenoord are standing their ground for now. Walker chooses No.32 ‘for Beckham’.”
Corriere dello Sport
🤝 “Gimenez to Milan: there is an agreement [with the player].”
💰 “Feyenoord are demanding €40m for the striker.”
QS
👋 “Mercato: here is Walker. Milan are pushing for Gimenez as well, but Feyenoord want more.”
The stingy Redbug’s lowball offer has exposed a significant gap between their proposal and the player’s market value, leaving the deal in limbo. Perhaps this is the perfect opportunity for Milan fans worldwide to rally together and support our beloved team. May it be the right time for us to donate and show our love for Milan… Forza Milan, Sempre Milan!
Don’t let us start what we can’t finish. What if other fans of other clubs start donating for their clubs to buy players ? This will be war !
Its an idea I once conceived but men, it will be crazy when other fans too start
The opening offer is €30 million. Don’t you understand how transfers work? We did this with CDK and Fofana, and got both so stop your complaining. The owners spend heavily.
And then you are supporting billionaire to earn millions for free why can’t support poor people instead
I think what we need now is buying the correct players that can solve our issues. A player may good buy may not solve our problem. We are doing fine in champions league but poorly in Serie A. We need to get players that can break down smaller teams that block strongly. Losing points to smaller teams have been our bane for more than a decade.
