Milan have been extremely active on the transfer market thus far and you can certainly tell that the directors are working hard to strengthen the team. And their efforts haven’t gone unnoticed in today’s papers.
In addition to Mike Maignan, Fikayo Tomori and Sandro Tonali, the Rossoneri secured the arrival of Olivier Giroud yesterday (yet to be official). The Frenchman underwent his medical and signed his contract at Casa Milan.
Gazzetta Dello Sport praised Milan on their front page: “Milan are serious. 60 million already spent, no one like the Rossoneri”. Tuttosport focused on Giroud, who admitted that ‘Milan is perfect for me’.
Corriere Dello Sport, on the other hand, decided to focus on the friendly games of today: “A great Saturday with Inter, Milan and Lazio”. The Rossoneri, of course, will take on Serie C Pro Sesto.
