On the front page, Gazzetta Dello Sport stated the following: “Champions League draw: Milan, Inter and Napoli can dream about the final. An autostrada opens up for the Italian teams, the big ones are on the other side.”
Tuttosport had a similar angle: “Champions League smile, Serie A in the semi-final. Milan-Napoli in the quarters, then another derby? The Rossoneri are in action tonight against Udinese.”
Corriere Dello Sport cited their interview with Fabio Capello: “Napoli are strong enough to reach the final. Milan can only beat them with Theo and Leao in the best form.”
