Following Milan’s friendly against Panathinaikos last night, which the former won by two goals to one, Olivier Giroud has received a lot of praise. And rightfully so, as he scored both goals for the Rossoneri.
The Frenchman has certainly started his adventure with the red and black shirt in the best way possible, immediately showing why Milan signed him. And today’s newspapers didn’t exactly hold back on the praise on the front pages.
“A wild devil, Giroud always scores. And Milan secure two signings: Adli and Florenzi close,” Gazzetta Dello Sport wrote on their front page. Tuttosport had a similar headline: “Milan smile with super Giroud”. “Milan cling to Giroud,” Corriere Dello Sport wrote.
