AC Milan will play their final game of the season tonight, taking on Monza at home. As highlighted in today’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport, however, focus is already on the next campaign.
Milan would improve their position in the standings with a win, but it would likely only be temporary (depending on the Bologna and Fiorentina games). As such, most of the fans – as well as players – have checked out mentally already.

The newspapers certainly attest to this as there has been a lot of talk about the future since the Coppa Italia defeat. There haven’t exactly been plenty of articles on tonight’s game, let’s put it that way, and rightfully so.
Today’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport mostly focused on Napoli’s Scudetto, but there were a couple of sections for the Rossoneri as well. The arrival of Igli Tare has certainly been something to talk about, with a lot of movement expected.
Today’s headlines in Gazzetta dello Sport
On Tare’s arrival
⌛ “Milan accelerate, Tare already in action. Head coach appointment and future of Reijnders to be decided quickly.”
👋 “The sporting director will start working from next week. The returning loanees will also be evaluated.”
On Camarda and others
⚽ “Camarda is back, chasing the first goal. Walker and Joao Felix will wave goodbye.”
🆚 “The 2008-born striker will battle it out with Jovic. Final game at San Siro also for Florenzi and Abraham.”

Since it is the final match and there is nothing to gain or lose.
Start with all the outgoing players to give a little honour which they might not deserve except the injured and come in with the future in the 2nd half;
Torriani, Bartesaghi, Terracciano, Camarda.
The constant defeats of our team is from the coach. I don’t know if he doesn’t know how to draw the most aggressive players to start the match. He brings in aggressive players at the end of the match and that’s unfortunate and unacceptable to me.
