AC Milan CEO Ivan Gazidis has spoken about the ‘great pride’ of representing the club at the Gran Galà del Calcio awards last night.
It was a fantastic night for Milan as they were given eight awards at the event in recognition of the club’s first Scudetto in 11 years including being crowned the best club in Italy, Stefano Pioli the best coach and Rafael Leao the best player in the league among others.
Gazidis spoke to Milan TV before the event, with his comments relayed by MilanNews.
“It is a great pride to be here after a special season. Receiving these awards for us is just an indication that we are on the right path. We want to continue like this and win more, last season is a pride for all of us,” he said.
