GdS: Milan ratings for Fiorentina defeat – Ibrahimovic the best; two flops

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan failed to extend their unbeaten run in the league last night as Fiorentina secured a 4-3 win at Artemio Franchi. Mistakes ruined the game for the Rossoneri, who now will have to leave the defeat behind.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic missed a golden opportunity in the first half to make it 1-1, which probably would have changed the course of the game. He did, however, bag a brace in the second half and was very much involved in the third goal (own-goal).

Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews) named him as the best Milan player with a 7/10 rating and it’s certainly justified. Rafael Leao also did well and earned himself a 6.5, while Franck Kessie and Pierre Kalulu both got a 6.

Ciprian Tatarusanu, who made a huge mistake, got a low score of 4.5 as a result of it but he isn’t alone. Matteo Gabbia got the same rating as he failed to clear the ball on the first goal and also struggled throughout the game.

Theo Hernandez, who made the error on the fourth goal, was given a 5 as he also got an assist in the game. Meanwhile, the likes of Simon Kjaer, Sandro Tonali, Alexis Saelemaekers, Brahim Diaz, Olivier Giroud, Alessandro Florenzi and Junior Messias all got a 5.5.
