AC Milan are reportedly considering a return for another former striker after being disappointed in their pursuit of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri have turned their attentions to Tianjin Quanjian striker Alexandre Pato once again.
Ibrahimovic seemed to confirm his stay at LA Galaxy with a social media post earlier on Monday, while Fabio Quagliarella has penned a new deal at Sampdoria.
GdS are reporting that Pato is a real option for Milan, but he must first lower his €9m salary, and convince Tianjin to let him leave.
The Brazilian has netted 36 in just 59 games since moving to China in January of last year, and was part of Milan’s last Scudetto winning squad.
