GdS: AC Milan turn to Rugani as Juve refuse to sell Demiral

By Isak Möller -

The Milan management is working hard on the transfer market to reinforce all the departments and especially the defence, given that Caldara is still recovering from a serious injury.

Giampaolo currently only has three centre-backs at his disposal (Gabbia, Musacchio and Romagnoli), which speaks for itself. The Rossoneri’s man target was Demiral, but Juventus refused to sell the player despite Milan’s attempts.

According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, therefore, the San Siro side have set their sights on Rugani, who could struggle even more with getting playing time next season (competing with four quality players).

In that sense, Milan would be a good opportunity for the Italian, who would be able to get a consistent amount of minutes throughout the season. For now, however, there is nothing concrete as it remains just an idea.
