The agent of AC Milan midfielder Lucas Paqueta is locked in talks with Paris Saint-Germain over a potential January move, it is claimed.
The Brazil international has been persistently linked with a move to the French capital over the last month, with speculation that Leonardo is targeting a raid on his former club.
Sky Italia reported on Monday that Paqueta is in fact still a January objective for sporting director Leonardo, who held the same role at Milan until the end of last season.
An update from SportMediaset on Tuesday then confirmed that PSG have not abandoned the idea of signing the former Flamengo man, but that the Ligue 1 side have made it clear that they are not willing to pay the €35million asking price that Milan have set and would need a discount.
According to the latest from La Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira, talks ongoing between Paqueta’s agent Eduardo Uram and PSG.
Leonardo has his heart set on reuniting with his compatriot, who could leave Milan in January, while Paqueta has made it clear that PSG are his first choice.
