La Gazzetta Dello Sport claims that Mattia Caldara has been fit for a month or so now, but Gattuso did not want to force him into action as he has been struggling with a serious injury for a long time.
Now that AC Milan are having some trouble in the defence and are in desperate need of qualifying for Champions League football, Caldara could be back in the starting eleven sooner than expected.
