GdS: Cardinale expected at San Siro for Milan’s first leg against Inter

By Isak Möller -

Gerry Cardinale couldn’t attend the first leg against Napoli but as AC Milan have made it through to the semi-finals, he should be present. And the Rossoneri can only smile amid the Champions League revenue.

Including the ticket sales from the semi-final, Milan will collect a whopping €125m in total for their Champions League adventure. It would obviously become even more if they were to knock out Inter and reach the final.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), Cardinale is expected to attend the first leg – Milan’s designated home clash – on May 10th and he will surely be in for a treat. Curva Sud and Curva Nord have already begun their work, of course, and the atmosphere should be electric.

It remains to be seen what the exact schedule will be for Cardinale. It’s likely that he will have a couple of meetings regarding the new stadium as well, with Milan now more or less set on moving from the San Siro area. But first, a semi-final to remember.

  1. Another one from Ghana, LAZZETIC and Daniel MALDINI? Their presence is better than ORIGI. Let’s see if BOAKYE WILL NOT WASTE.
