GdS: Dortmund open to loan formula as Milan eye €27m operation for playmaker

In addition to Brahim Diaz, who did well in the friendly last night, Milan also want to bring in another playmaker this summer. It makes sense, seeing as Diaz was the alternative to Hakan Calhanoglu last season.

The latest name on the Rossoneri notebook, as reported by Gazzetta Dello Sport (via SempreMilan), is Julian Brandt. The 25-year-old didn’t play much last season and isn’t pleased with the situation at Borussia Dortmund.

Jaden Sancho has left the club, which could give Brandt some more space, but it seems they are past that stage. Milan have the German on their radar and Dortmund are seemingly open to a loan formula, having proposed it in talks with Lazio.

As a result, the Rossoneri are eyeing a paid loan with an option to buy, worth a total of €27m (€5m for the loan and €22m for the buy-out). At the time being, Brandt is a more likely option than Nikola Vlasic, per the newspaper.
