GdS: Fiorentina enter race for Suso as Milan set new asking price

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have reportedly set their demands for Suso amid new interest from fellow Serie A side Fiorentina.

The Spaniard’s future continues to be the subject of intense speculation despite a number of impressive performances in preseason, including Saturday’s win over Feronikeli in Kosovo.

It has been claimed that Lyon have had an opening bid for Suso rejected as Milan are holding out for offers about €30million, while Roma have also been credited with interest.

Marco Giampaolo for his part has declared his desire to keep the player, however it is reported that the leadership are keen on selling to raise funds regardless.

Now, Sunday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews.it) throws a new name into the hat by stating that Fiorentina are also interested in the 25-year-old.

They claim that Viola directors Joe Barone and Daniele Prade have been in talks with Milan for at least a week over the winger, with Vincenzo Montella eyeing a reunion.

The former Liverpool man has a termination clause of €40million for clubs in Italy, the report adds, but a fee of €30-32million is believed to be enough.

Fiorentina, for now, have offered a lower figure, however they may choose to raise that in the coming days.
