GdS: Future uncertain for Giroud as Chelsea play hardball on Milan move

By Isak Möller -

Olivier Giroud is still a Chelsea player as his entourage has been unable to free him from the English side, who recently activated a renewal clause. Therefore, his move to Milan is now at risk of collapsing.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, as cited by MilanNews, Giroud already has an agreement with Milan on the personal terms. However, the Rossoneri are not interested in his services if it isn’t on a free transfer.

Therefore, his entourage has been working tirelessly on the matter but have been unable to convince Chelsea thus far. What seemed like a formality at the start is turning out to be a real issue for the striker, who wants to move.

Milan, in the meantime, are probing alternatives and Giroud’s arrival at the club doesn’t seem as certain as it did just a few weeks ago. We can expect a striker to arrive this summer, though.

  1. Buy Scamacca or Roman Yaremchuk for striker position! And forget about Giroud or Bachuay!
Try bringing Kamara or Pessina keep Pobega and resolve the signig of Tonali and midfield done!
Keep Hauge sell Leao and with that money bring Ikone and wingers position its done!
Try loan for Dalot and Firpo with option to buy and backup for Theo and Calabria done!
Sell Romagnoli and bring Lovato and we have Tomori/Gabbia/Kjaer/Lovato for center back!

    1. That is great news and I am very happy that Giroud is not coming to Milan. We don’t need any old man who doesn’t play in the club, doesn’t play in the national team. Milan would only have the expense as with Mandzukic.
Milan will bring in from the attackers, Belloti
      From the midfield of Pessina
And I would like them to bring Icone from Lille
