Suso could stay at AC Milan even if Angel Correa arrives from Atletico Madrid, according to a report.
The Spaniard continues to be linked with an exit this summer despite a number of impressive preseason displays, including Saturday’s win over Feronikeli in Kosovo.
It has been claimed that Lyon have made a bid for Suso which was rejected, while Roma and most recently Fiorentina have also been linked.
Marco Giampaolo has always made clear his desire to keep the 25-year-old, which apparently led to a disagreement with the club’s leadership, as Milan are happy to consider bids of €35m+.
Monday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews.it) clarifies that Suso remains central to Giampaolo’s plans as he requires a squad of players who are able to rotate.
It even goes on to state that the former Sampdoria boss wants the club to keep Suso even if they unlock the negotiation with Atletico Madrid for Angel Correa.
The Argentine is understood to be a major target for Milan still despite the current €10m difference between offer and valuation.
