GdS: Ibrahimovic calls Milan with recent statements but future is already decided

By Isak Möller -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is destined to leave AC Milan at the end of the season, parting ways with the Rossoneri after what has been a successful short-term spell. At least, we are heading towards this outcome.

Against Parma, the 38-year-old made his 100th appearance for the club and was celebrated with an award at the training ground yesterday. During the interview, he said: “Playing in this club is a great honour, I hope to play many more games”.

The latest statements – made in a festive atmosphere at Milanello – seemed to bring Ibrahimovic closer to the Rossoneri. In reality, though, it’s very difficult to imagine that the striker will remain at the club beyond this season.

As reported by today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews.it), in fact, the new course entrusted to Ralf Rangnick will focus on the enhancement of young talents and for Ibra’s bulky personality, there doesn’t seem to be any space left.
