GdS: Ibrahimovic sends signal to Milan as uncertainty surrounds his future

By Isak Möller -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is back, as agreed. Or rather, as scheduled. After a brief visit to Sweden, the Rossoneri striker returned to Italy to undergo the medical checks that will paint a better picture of his injury.

The 38-year-old’s future is yet to be decided but as reported by Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews.it), he still feels like a Milan player. His contract is valid for another 26 days and it remains to be seen if there will be a general solution to this issue.

Of course, Milan would like to keep him until the season ends but the contract situation shouldn’t worry them too much. Ibrahimovic is an impeccable professional and a solution will surely be found to keep him at the club.

While his stay for the rest of this season is almost certain, next season is a completely different question. As the newspaper concludes, it remains to be seen if Ibrahimovic’s thoughts will coincide with the Rossoneri management.
