AC Milan parted ways with Pierre Kalulu in the summer – which was questioned by the fans – and now with him impressing in Turin, it seems his move to Juventus will be made permanent.
Kalulu is a strange figure within the Milan fanbase, for some, the memories of the Scudetto season cloud his recent performances, and vice versa. Whichever camp you are in, though, the decision to loan him to Juventus was a questionable one.
If nothing else, he provided good depth in two positions, and that provides exceptional value with the Rossoneri in four competitions this season. However, Zlatan Ibrahimovic preferred to put his trust in Strahinja Pavlovic, and with the Serbian defender now ‘missing’ questions are being asked.
In Turin, things are going fantastically for the Frenchman and he is establishing himself in Thiago Motta’s squad, leaving fans to question what could have been if there was faith installed in him.
It seems that there will not be a chance for him to prove himself again in Rossoneri colours as well, given Gazzetta dello Sport (via Milan News) have suggested that his move to Juventus looks likely to become permanent due to the €14 million release clause.
All Milan can do is watch on, but for €20m – the total price of the loan and permanent move – can they find a rotational – or more – option better than Kalulu.
Capital gain. That’s all the matters, right?
But then again… Why buy Emerson Royal? Moncada thought his value would skyrocket? What a FNG moran!!!
I miss gazidis. He knew how to sort through trash and he knew we need exp and young talent.
Moncada? Let’s just say royal and cardoso have the same agent and leave the rest to imagination
