GdS: Kessie wants a ‘farewell goal’ before leaving Milan this summer

Franck Kessie is expected to leave AC Milan on a free transfer this summer but until then, he will continue to be an important player for the Rossoneri. And before leaving, he wants to get a farewell goal.

The Ivorian has decided to leave AC Milan this summer and instead, he will sign for Barcelona on a free transfer. Since that was more or less confirmed, though, he’s yet to find the back of the net. In fact, his last goal dates back to early February.

As stated by Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), Kessie is in search of the ‘farewell goal’ with just five games remaining of the season. If Milan were to get a penalty, then he will surely step up from the spot.

In addition to the goal, it’s clear that he will be an important player for the Rossoneri in many other aspects. His experience, for example, will be a key for what is a very young squad overall. And with Ismael Bennacer currently injured, his importance is even more evident.
