GdS: Lecce in advanced talks with Milan over young forward – the formula

By Isak Möller -

In addition to signings, AC Milan are also looking to offload some outcast as well as youngsters. Lorenzo Colombo is part of the latter group and another loan move is looming for the striker.

This past season, Colombo was out on loan at SPAL in Serie B, finding the back of the net six times in 35 appearances. Some of his goals were very well-taken, though, and there’s no doubt that he has a lot of talent in him.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport’s Luca Bianchin, Milan are currently in advanced talks with Lecce who are looking to loan Colombo. The formula includes a buy-out option in favour of the Serie B side, but also a buy-back clause for the Rossoneri.

An agreement could be reached very soon, based on these rumours, and it remains to be seen if this can be the breakout year for Colombo. Otherwise, Milan might decide to not exercise their buy-back clause.

    1. gotta admit, Ali, I like your tenacity, always first to the section…I really hope you make a dent, I really, like reeaally hope Maldini shakes the hand over the contract, look straight at the camera and say, “thanks Ali”

      1. …and yeah, for Gazidis to walk, but that might be a bit too much to hope for, He’s done great work after all, maybe just holding things up through all the bureaucracy
