And how cares how he performs with Italy. AC Milan is a club, not the national team. His stats are great at club level. Just like Lazio doesn’t care that Immobile doesn’t perform with the national team.
Cmon €15mn is a steal. If the price is low because of Italys surprise elimination, that makes it an opportunity for us. I see that Milan fans have mixed opinions on him but his serie A numbers are consistently good, its an affordable price, he’s Italian and even the biggest hater would surely admit he’s an enormous upgrade on our current RW position.
Any money we save in the budget by signing him can be spent elsewhere in the squad. Honestly anything less than €20mn is a no brainer to me, and I’m no Berardi fan, it’s just sensible business.
