In the summer, AC Milan are looking to reinforce the squad with some top-quality players after what has been a good season thus far. One of these players could arrive from Lazio, a report claims.
The Rossoneri were knocked out of the Champions League group stage earlier this season and in order to compete next campaign, reinforcements will be needed. As per Gazzetta Dello Sport (via SempreMilan.it), Luis Alberto is one of the targets.
The Spaniard has regained form in Maurizio Sarri’s team but since Lazio will miss out on the Champions League (most likely, they also missed this season’s UCL), some sales must be made. Alberto is one of the players that could be sacrificed, per the newspaper.
Paolo Maldini has been a big fan of the attacking midfielder for many years now but has always received cold responses from Lazio. Therefore, he’s watching the situation with great interest and it remains to be seen if he will move concretely.
Sevilla are also interested in Alberto and Lazio will slap an initial price tag of €30-35m on their star. A figure which must be evaluated carefully.

I doubt it with that price tag, he will be 30 in under 6 months.
Where are all the “Berardi (27) is too old”-guys now? 😀
