GdS: Man Utd’s attack worries but there is one weakness for Milan to exploit

By Isak Möller -

Milan got the toughest draw possible in the Europa League round of 16 as they will face Man Utd in the two-legged tie. Albeit a tough game, it will also be a very interesting one to watch.

The Rossoneri have failed to win in their last four games (all comps.), registering two draws and two defeats. Therefore, they will need to pick themselves up and regain confidence ahead of the encounters with the English side.

As highlighted by Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), the attacking strengths of Man Utd are indeed worrying from a Milan perspective. On the other hand, there is a weakness that Stefano Pioli’s men will be able to exploit: their defence.

The Lindelöf-Maguire duo at the back has never reached high levels and with Zlatan Ibrahimovic on the pitch, they could be in trouble. Milan will have to take advantage of this weakness and try to advance to the next round of the competition.
