Ralf Rangnick’s arrival at AC Milan is all but confirmed. However, it remains to be seen what role he will take on, with the most likely one being as a manager (head coach and director).
According to today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews.it), during the summit between Ralf Rangnick and the leaders of Milan, it will also be necessary to make a decision on the Rossoneri’s next manager.
Should Rangnick take on a role as just director, then Julian Nagelsmann would be his first choice for the bench. However, to get the German, the Rossoneri will have to deal with RB Leipzig and their own budget.
At just 32 years of age, Nagelsmann has already acquired a great deal of experience and feels ready to bear responsibilities. Then again, as we reported two days ago, Rangnick is expected to take on a double role as head coach and director.
