GdS: Milan could be set for overhaul on the left wing as offers are invited for duo

By Oliver Fisher -

There could be a big change in the left wing department for Milan this summer as two players are considered transferable, according to a report.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) this morning talks about the future of Rafael Leao and Jens Petter Hauge, and writes that neither is guaranteed of staying with the Rossoneri beyond the upcoming summer mercato.

The club have not officially put them on the market but at the same time they do not consider them to be non-transferable, so if convincing offers arrive they could leave. Clubs abroad are interested in the Norwegian winger and the Portuguese forward.

It was a similar story for both players in the 2020-21 season as they each excelled in the first half of the season, contributing with important goals, but struggled in the second part of the campaign and were used less and less by head coach Stefano Pioli, who preferred Ante Rebic.
