GdS: Milan eager to provide ownership clarification as talks proceed with city council

By Isak Möller -

Milan and Inter are keen on building a new stadium to replace San Siro which, albeit iconic, is very outdated. The talks with the city council have been far from easy, though, as evidenced by the many months of it.

In recent weeks, there have been a few reports regarding the ownership of Milan, with Rai Tre’s report upsetting many in the Rossoneri environment. We recently spoke to Felice Raimondo, who clarified the situation and completely shut down the report.

As reported by Gazzetta Dello Sport (via Milanlive), however, the report still caught attention and the city council are now asking for clarification amid the stadium talks. The official statement from Elliott Management, therefore, wasn’t enough.

The Rossoneri aren’t worried at all, though, and even made themselves available to provide all the clarifications that the council requested. Milan have nothing to hide, after all, as Elliott Management really are the owners of the club.
