GdS: Milan fans fear another ‘Kalulu gift’ to Juventus – the latest on Tomori

Fikayo Tomori has ended up in the sights of Juventus following the serious injury of Gleison Bremer. As such, AC Milan fans are fearing another Pierre Kalulu-esque transfer, although it remains unlikely according to a report.

Kalulu left Milan in the summer as there was no more room on the squad list, with the management and Paulo Fonseca preferring Emerson Royal instead. Since then, the Frenchman has done really well for Juventus, rubbing salt into the wounds of the Rossoneri fans.

As reported by Gazzetta dello Sport this morning, Juventus are indeed looking at Tomori to strengthen the defence. The Englishman hasn’t started a league game since October 6, only playing a total of eleven minutes after that (9 against Cagliari and 2 against Verona).

Indeed, Matteo Gabbia and Malick Thiaw have become the undisputed starters with just two goals conceded in the last five games (both against Atalanta, the best attack in the league). It would make little sense for Fonseca to switch now, in other words.

That being said, as the report concludes, Milan fans don’t have to be too worried about a departure as the schedule will be very busy after the break. The Rossoneri will be busy on four fronts: the league (in 8th place currently), the Champions League (Girona and Dinamo Zagreb), the Supercoppa Italiana (semi-final against Juve and the potential final), and the Coppa Italia (Roma in the quarters).

Tomori, therefore, will be very useful for Milan and Fonseca – who have no intention of strengthening a rival mid-season.

  1. If they pay a fair price, none of these insane terms were given to Juventus for Kalulu.

A deal of around 45 Million is fair. Tamori has much more experience than Kalulu and Tamori hasn’t had an injury record recently.

    So run those pockets

    1. What back up do we have to these guys? Why gift Tomori away? Who will replace him? We gave out Kalulu and kept Emerson.

What’s wrong with the Milan fan base???

    2. 45M for Tomori?
So a player we don’t use is worth 45M? I guess Thiaw is 90M then…
Also he was injured for 2 months at the beginning of this year..

    3. Who then will be the backup to Thiaw and Gabbia??

The unproven Pavlovic – who doesn’t know positional defending and commits a foul on every other play?? LOLOLOLO

Typical Redbird response – if the $$ is right – sell! Who cares about not having a suitable replacement- you know because January is always the best time to buy and quality players are always available at cheap prices 😂🤡🤪 – why worry about the sporting results LOL

Bunch of Xbox gamers on here……

  2. Tomori is not suited for Motta. He is not good enough with the ball and Motta gives lots of importance to the buildup. I doubt it will happen. When Bremer is back he will 4th choice CB at Juventus.

  3. i still remember when milan fans blamed kalulu for his horrible mistakes. I don’t know, i saw him with juve and caused to big errors which resulted in goals against juve.
