GdS: Milan hoping to streamline squad – four players could be sold to raise €50m

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are hoping to bolster their transfer kitty with the sale of several players who are no longer part of the plans, a report claims.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) this morning, the Milan management want a competitive team and healthy balance sheet, wanting to add to the squad in the right areas but also streamline it by selling those players no longer considered functional to the project.

Rafael Leao is a talent that never fully blossomed at Milan and while he is ‘not for sale’, the Rossoneri would listen to offers of €25m or more and would certainly consider them. The same goes for Jens Petter Hauge, who was bought for a few million and could guarantee a good capital gain with a valuation of €15m.

The sale of some fringe players like Rade Krunic and Samu Castillejo could bring the transfer kitty up to the €50m mark, the latter having ended up in the sights of Real Betis.

  1. not hauge ffs. bigger mistake than Locatelli. If Elliot’s only plan is to sell young talents then sell Theo Kessie sell everybody, this squad will never win shit then. we are acting like a feeder club like dortmund. or Ajax

  2. Big mistake letting Hauge leave. For any price. We will regret it more than Locatelli.

Also why are we acting like a Feeder Club like dortmund or Ajax where we just sell young talents. If we really want to sell young talents then it’s better to sell Theo and every young talent for CaPiTal GaIn. this is bs. we will never win anything like this. Elliot management should understand this or else sell the club

  3. Leao and hauge are our future.. why sell them and bring in giroud? I tell you why: because Pioli is a coward and don’t trust youngsters… He only likes players over 30 years old
