GdS: Milan make improved offer to Ibrahimovic – answer expected tomorrow

By Isak Möller -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s future continues to be a hot topic. He seemed destined to leave Milan at the start of the summer, but then Stefano Pioli was confirmed and the Rossoneri are hoping to do the same with the Swede.

According to today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews.it), the parties are getting closer and closer. Ivan Gazidis, the CEO of Milan, authorized Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara to increase the initial offer of €5m.

The improved offer includes a series of simple bonuses that can take the total amount up to €6m. Between today and tomorrow, the answer is expected from Ibrahimovic and Milan are optimistic that he will accept the new offer.

Both parties want to reach an agreement as the pre-season preparations will start on Monday. Of course, Pioli wants to have the 38-year-old ready by then, seeing as he’s an important player for the entire squad.
