GdS: Milan player ratings for Bologna draw – One positive and one clear flop

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan dropped two important points in the Scudetto race last night as Bologna held out a 0-0 draw at San Siro. Today’s newspapers didn’t go easy on some of the Rossoneri players, which is understandable.

Gazzetta Dello Sport (via SempreMilan) took stock of the individual performances in their usual ratings column, praising Ismael Bennacer for his display in midfield. He was given a 6.5/10, named the MOTM for Milan as he gave his all.

The likes of Mike Maignan, Davide Calabria, Fikayo Tomori, Pierre Kalulu, Theo Hernandez and Olivier Giroud came away with a pass (all 6). Meanwhile, Sandro Tonali, Brahim Diaz, Rafael Leao, Ante Rebic, Franck Kessie and Zlatan Ibrahimovic were just below that (5.5).

The worst player on the pitch was Junior Messias, with a rating of 4.5. The Brazilian wasted all the chances he had and also ruined several promising moves for Milan, becoming too easy to read for the defenders. Pioli, meanwhile, was given a 5.5.
