GdS: Milan remain locked in talks with club over Andre Silva

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan remain locked in talks with Sporting CP over a deal which would see Andre Silva return to Portugal, a report claims.

Speculation surrounding Silva’s future at Milan continues to rumble, with a number of destinations mentioned already this summer.

Reports from Calciomercato.com on Sunday claimed that his agent Jorge Mendes is under pressure to find his client a new club.

Sporting CP seemed to be the only potential destination for Silva, but a report from Italian outlet TMW on Monday (as cited by MilanNews.it) claimed that the track had gone cold.

The same report also mentioned that LaLiga side Espanyol were in talks over a potential deal, but now another update has arrived.

According to Tuesday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport – as cited by MilanNews.it – negotiations are continuing with Sporting Lisbon and the deal is not dead altogether.

The paper adds however that the two sides are not yet close to an agreement, with just days left in the current transfer window.
