GdS: Milan schedule meeting with Real Madrid over loanee – their stance is clear

By Isak Möller -

Milan have just two games left of the season and the Champions League race could be decided as early as today. One of the players that have stood out lately is Brahim Diaz, rejuvenating the play in the No.10 role.

The Real Madrid loanee has scored two goals and assisted another in the last two games, giving the Rossoneri management something to think about. According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, as cited by MilanNews, they want to keep the player.

Obviously, the tough part will be to reach an agreement with the Spanish club, but the will of the player could work in favour of Milan. Diaz knows very well that he will get more space where he is now than at Real Madrid, especially if Hakan Calhanoglu leaves.

Before thinking about the future, however, there is still a Champions League spot to be secured. And for this reason, both the No.21 and Milan don’t want any distractions, which is why the meeting with Real will take place after the season.
