GdS: Milan want Ukraine star on loan with option to buy – the response

By Isak Möller -

One of Milan’s priorities this summer is the attack and, above all, the centre-forward role. It seems they could sign more than one player for this, meaning Olivier Giroud might not be the only arrival.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), the Rossoneri have also set their sights on Roman Yaremchuk. The Gent forward, currently on international duty with Ukraine, would be an interesting reinforcement for the attack.

Milan have proposed a paid loan with an option to buy, which is a formula that the Belgian side aren’t willing to accept. They want to monetise Yaremchuk’s departure immediately and are asking for around €25m cash, keen on riding the Euros wave.

This past season, the 25-year-old scored 17 goals in the Belgian leagye and also assisted six goals. In addition, he has scored two goals for Ukraine in their two games at the Euros thus far, which is impressive.

  1. It’s interesting that today in euro 2020 , there will be a clash between 2 striker targets: Roman Yaremchuk and Sasa Kalajdzic. Who will be better and go on the next round?
