GdS: Milan’s transfer budget for summer revealed – hinges on Champions League

By Isak Möller -

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are already scanning the market for good opportunities ahead of the summer transfer window. However, the most important thing for them is yet to be decided, namely the budget.

Milan are currently in second place with 56 points, having dropped a lot of points in the last few months. The race for a top-four finish is extremely tight and it will be important for the Rossoneri to fight through it and succeed.

As reported by Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), the Rossoneri’s transfer budget would start at €50m with Champions League qualification. It could even reach €70m, but it would depend on the opportunities on the market and the sales made.

The top-four race is far from over and Milan will have to pick themselves up, starting with the game against Fiorentina tomorrow evening. Their schedule is a bit easier in April, which could allow them to restore some comfort in the standings.

  1. 50M is nothing considering 28M should already be set aside to sign Tomori. Need at least 100M if we are serious about contending for Scudetto and CL. Need a starting striker as even if Ibra comes back this season showed us his body will not hold up for a full season playing 3 games a week. He should be back up only, 20-30min, mentoring Leao or another young striker. back up left back, back up mid, a starting RW… all musts. 50m after Tomori is 22M not much we can buy with that…
