AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli has been able to add two more players to his list of those considered untouchable, according to a report.
There is without doubt a group of players that Pioli knows are essential to the cause and must be in the line-up when possible, like Maignan, Calabria, Tomori, Kjaer, Theo Hernandez, Kessie and Saelemaekers.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Calciomercato.com), Pioli realised after the 2-1 win against Spezia on Saturday that he has two new untouchables to add to the aforementioned core of players.
The duo in question both came off the bench as it was Rafael Leao and Brahim Diaz that made a big impact. The former had a hand in both goals and showed a real willingness to get Spezia on the back foot, while the latter was brought on late but got into a position to score the winning goal.
They both needed some rest in the game against Thiago Mottaβs side, but at the moment they are too important for Milan.

are you serious? How can you see Kessie as untouchable? He plays crap
lol. fake fans are so funny.
the guy has a couple of bad matches and he is crap xD
everyone forgot already that he carried us last season.
YES he is an asshole for what he is doing with his contract situation. BUT we got no midfielder like him.
Yes couple of bad matches means Tonali and Bennacer are the ones that should be playing
we arent Charity FC
Its tonali and bennacer that are 100% Milan player
He not a fake fan..he has a point in his view.kessie played an important role in milan last season…just now his heart is far from the team cos he not playing like he always do even with fitness problem u still notice kessie In the match but now tonali is out shinning him in the middle ….the funny thing is baks(bakayoko) is back and if he fines his form back ..for me the best replacement will be Renato sancho…..if he wants to leave..they should let him …..Milan is family …we wish him the best…alongs are u are not in Milan jersey..u are an enemy…..it will be a a big lose if we lose him….but that is his call,…………note the two unworthy Milan Players who left thinking about money are playing crap. And there replacement are awesome………. Milan till death…peace
He literally said he played like crap, not that he is. ππππππ
P.S Tonali is way better than him at the moment, when Kessie decides to play again he can be in the 1st team. Looks like Leao and him swaped motivation, Kessie reminds me of him last season.
Fake fans have memories that only go back one season. Was Kessie such a world beater in his first three seasons? It’s like Calhanoglu. Both kind of average for the first 3-4 seasons of their contracts and then suddenly one good season, a refusal to renew and then they’re off. Kessie for more than double his rate, and Chalhanoglu to INTER for a few dollars more. Tonali and Bennacer should be the pivot. Tonali has shown immense improvement and he needs the time on the pitch to continue this. He took a PAY CUT to come to Milan. Then next summer we get Adli and Pobega back. Bye Kessie. Enjoy the bench at Money FC.
did you see the team play last season? for how many minutes was he dropped for the whole year? Is there a fluke the European elites want him? if he wants to go that’s his decision. CR7 or Lewy wanted to move on when they were in teams like ManU and BVB but they didn’t recieve this stupid, ungrateful treatment
how do you know what kind of treatment they got? LOL
What? Lewandovski was definitely harrased by fans when he signed. Ronaldo left for a world record fee, a big difference.
Germany still has a massive anti-Bayern sentiment, not long ago even Munich had more 1860 fans, BVB board, fans community, Zorc-Watzke all made it clear who they love and wanted till the last minute despite of what was coming, BVB could sell him easily, thing is Lewy won Bundesliga, played a UCL final only after he had set up his mind and you could ignore the ignorants when they don’t show up on the tasty tabloids, Kessie realizes there’s hardly a turning back while he still needs to perform both for his career and his team, I am a life-long Milan fan but I’ll be shocked to learn this young team has won the UCL in like next 2/3 years, it’s learning and growing fast, funds are tight, It’s been a hard seven years for the fans but we should balance our pride and expectations, I like Tonali a lot but there’s no need to overhype and push him so early.. btw how would you embrace Calhanoglu had he agreed to stay at the end- chance to sell him now? was he here for a short period? Italians are crazy about football BUT booing and jeering not- flying swastika and Di Canio salutes are avoidable, CR7 made the record alright- is the direction and motivation lot different?
Leao rising
