There was an important meeting that took place yesterday afternoon at Casa Milan as Stefano Pioli was informed regarding where various negotiations stand.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) write that as soon as he returned from his holidays in Greece, the head coach stopped off at the club’s headquarters and met the CEO Giorgio Furlani for about 90 minutes.
The duo discussed transfer strategies and the new season in general, which will officially kick off with next Monday’s meeting at Milanello. Pioli will have Ruben Loftus-Cheek at his disposal after his arrival was made official, plus his shirt number today.
Pulisic: He might not be the only player to arrive from Chelsea as Christian Pulisic is moving ever closer to joining Milan. He has said yes to lowering his salary to €4m net and has rejected Lyon, who sent a €25m bid to the Blues.
Pulisic only wants Milan and does not accept alternatives. The Rossoneri have made an offer of €14m, which is equal to the last instalment of the amortisation to be paid by the London club who bought him for €64m in 2019.
However, an agreement is not yet there, it is possible that it closes at around €20-22m, including bonuses.
Reijnders: While also working on Davide Frattesi, Milan are also moving for other midfield targets. In recent days, an offer of around €16m plus bonuses was presented to AZ Alkmaar for Tijjani Reijnders, but it was not enough.
The Dutch side want €20m, and a deal is close. Like Pulisic, Reijnders has also given the go-ahead to make the move to Italy.
Musah: The USA international at Valencia has an agreement with Milan, but they are yet to find a deal with his club who continue to ask for €25m despite being in financial difficulty.
Chukwueze: The Nigerian winger could join to reinforce the right wing, but an agreement on fee must be found with Villarreal.
Morata: The centre-forward to support Olivier Giroud might come from Spain too and it is no mystery that Alvaro Morata is admired by Milan. A meeting with his representatives is possible this week.
Why are these morata links still persisting he’s sh!t. We need a different striker to giroud to mix it up not like for like
Different, high-quality and proven strikers from better European leagues or South America cost from 40 million onwards! This is where the scout service has to prove itself. To see something that others don’t see, or to find someone of value that others didn’t know how to take advantage of. And all this at the most affordable price, of course.
Get Pulisic, Kamada (free), and Adama (free). And we’re all set on the AMC and Right Wing post. For Chuk, let’s hope we can sign him for free next season. Use the budget to get a decent striker. Other than Morata obviously.
exactly! Get Kamada now, and Chuk next year free.
It’s too risky though but it would be a shame to miss on Kamada. We don’t have player like him in the squad
This is the same i always comment in this site. Better wait samuel free transfer rather than pay villarreal 40m euro . Kamada not only provide physical on AMF also goal + asist , he is useful too for jersey sale in japan . Pulisic can play as RW too , that make we dont need to faster signed samuel . Sign kamada , pulisic, yunus, reijnders and we are good on AMF,RW, double pivot
Agreed. What I see from Kamada is he’s a good passer, long shooter, and set pieces taker. All of the characteristics lacking / missing in last season’s Milan. Moreover now Tonali is gone. I lost my hair everytime seeing Alexis take any kind of set pieces.
And don’t forget we still need a decent striker. So it’d be a waste to sign both Pulisic and Chuk.
Acmilan should sign boulaye Dia for centre forward then sign Romain Favre, pulisic, kamanda as attacking midfield
We need Reijnneder and Musah but I don’t think we have the money to buy them, also there is a problem with the right wing either Chuz or Pulisic are way better than Messiah and Alexis and still we don’t have an CAM… Kamada should have been already in the squad, wasting 20 mil for Loftus is so non sense, also why Morata ????? There are way better and cheaper striker than him, why isn’t Monacada going for Georges Mikautadze? The lack of ideas and negotiation skills of this new management is horrible, our team got weaker instead of improving.
