Stefano Pioli hasn’t decided the starting XI for tomorrow’s game as he has one doubt to settle, perhaps during today’s training session. The doubt in question is the No.10 role, a report claims.
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (via SempreMilan), the manager knows what choices to make for all the positions except one, namely the trequartista role. Franck Kessie has been given the nod a lot lately but this time out, he could be rested.
Brahim Diaz is now the favourite, most likely because he has been able to work hard at Milanello and regain energy. Furthermore, Pioli perhaps feels that Kessie will be better suited for some of the other remaining games, such as the Atalanta one.
The rest of the XI is what you would expect but perhaps an eye should be kept on the left-wing, although Pioli hinted during today’s presser that it will indeed be Rafael Leao from start.
Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Kalulu, Tomori, Hernandez; Bennacer, Tonali; Messias, Diaz, Leao; Giroud.
