GdS: Probable XIs for Lazio vs. Milan – Key duo still out but Bennacer returns

By Isak Möller -

Milan desperately need to get back to winning ways this Monday after the horrible second half against Sassuolo. Fifth place is now just three points away and it’s safe to say they can’t afford to drop points.

Stefano Pioli can’t possibly be satisfied with the substitutions he made last time out as it turned the game around, in favour of Sassuolo. He will get a chance to redeem himself with the selections for the Lazio game on Monday, though.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, he will make one change to the starting XI that took the field at San Siro on Wednesday. Instead of Soualiho Meite, Ismael Bennacer will start in the midfield as the latter has recovered from his injury.

Theo Hernandez and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, on the other hand, are still out and will most likely miss the game altogether. At the best, perhaps, they could be on the bench but the next few training sessions will give us more information.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Calabria, Kjaer, Tomori, Dalot; Bennacer, Kessie; Saelemaekers, Calhanoglu, Rebic; Leao.

Probable Lazio XI (3-5-2): Reina; Marusic, Acerbi, Radu; Lazzari, Milinkovic, Leiva, Luis Alberto, Fares; Immobile, Correa.
