Sandro Tonali is ready to start his adventure with Milan. The midfielder arrived at La Madonnina clinic for his medical earlier this morning and after that, he will sign his contract with the Rossoneri.
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews.it), the 20-year-old will face a race against time as Stefano Pioli would like to have him ready for the game against Shamrock Rovers. The game will take place next week on Thursday evening.
However, Milan have until midnight tomorrow to submit the squad list to UEFA. Tonali should be ready in time and the deal could be announced this evening, following the contract signing at Casa Milan. The deadline is worth noting, though.
The midfielder will wear the No.8 shirt with his new club as Gennaro Gattuso has always been his idol. Hopefully, he will be able to live up to the hype and build on the excellent season he had in 2019/20.
