In addition to strengthening the squad, Milan are also looking to offload a few players, such as Lucas Paqueta. The Brazilian has previously lacked suitors but now Lyon have stepped forward to express their interest.
According to Antonio Vitiello of MilanNews.it, the contacts between Milan and Lyon are constant, as demonstrated by the Rossoneri’s signings of Pierre Kalulu and Ciprian Tatarusanu (read more about the latter here).

The two clubs are also talking about the future of Lucas Paqueta, who failed to impress the Rossoneri management this past season. Milan are asking for €20-25m to part ways with the Brazilian, having paid about €35m to sign him in the first place.
The next few days will be decisive for the transfer, as the reporter describes, and it remains to be seen if the deal will materialize. After just one and a half year, therefore, Paqueta’s adventure with Milan could be over.
