Milan currently have several players on the injury list and this certainly affected the team’s performance against Udinese, without the creativity of Hakan Calhanoglu in Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the attack.
According to today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport, as cited by MilanNews, the beginning of next week will be decisive to understand the condition of Calhanoglu. He’s currently recovering from a muscle injury and new tests are scheduled for Monday.
Once the results are in, the recovery time for the No.10 will be clearer and the Rossoneri can only hope that it won’t be too long. The feeling is that he could be back before Ibrahimovic, who could make his return in the second leg vs. Man Utd.
Both, of course, are very important for Milan and especially in the attacking phase, where Stefano Pioli’s men have struggled a bit lately. Against Udinese, they just couldn’t break down the defence and that cost them two points.
