GdS: Torino to announce signing of Milan outcast between Monday and Tuesday

By Isak Möller -

After saying goodbye to the likes of Asmir Begovic, Lucas Biglia and Jack Bonaventura, Milan are continuing to make space for some new signings. In fact, per the latest reports, Ricardo Rodriguez is set to leave the club.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, as cited by MilanNews.it, the left-backs move to Torino has been defined. An agreement was reached between all parties and the official announcement is expected between Monday and Tuesday next week.

Rodriguez will sign a four-year deal with the club, as added by MilanNews, and the Rossoneri will bank €3m from his departure. Having signed him for €15m from Wolfsburg back in 2017, this means they will make a minor loss on the balance sheet.

The Swiss international will reunite with Marco Giampaolo, who played him a lot when he was the Rossoneri’s manager. Then, of course, came the explosion of Theo Hernandez (and Giampaolo’s sacking) and Rodriguez was shipped off to PSV on loan.
