GdS: Torreira wants to leave Arsenal amid AC Milan links

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, AC Milan are still after Arsenal midfielder Torreira, despite reports suggesting that they have abandoned the chase.

Torreira remains on the top of Giampaolo’s list for the midfield. In order to convince Arsenal to sell, Milan will need to offer €35m which is considered too much by the Rossoneri.

The player would be happy to return to Italy and reunite with his former manager, as reported by Gazzetta, stating that the Uruguayan isn’t satisfied with his adventure in England.

Giampaolo’s call, as the agent said, would be special for the player, but at least €35m is needed to convince the Gunners to sell. In other words, it will be tough for the Rossoneri to pull it off.

Torreira has played a key role in Unai Emery’s first season as Arsenal manager. The Uruguayan played in 34 league games, 12 Europa League games, and 4 cup games making a total of 50 appearances in his first season with the club.
