GdS: Tuesday will be decisive for Ibrahimovic – the latest on his condition

By Isak Möller -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is currently recovering from an injury and it’s safe to say that the process has been slow-going. Not ideal for AC Milan and certainly not the player, who’s eager to get back on the pitch.

The 40-year-old has only made one appearance for the Rossoneri this season and it was against Lazio. He came off the bench in the second half and crowned his return with a goal, but since then he has been on the sidelines.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), Tuesday will be decisive for Ibrahimovic as he will start running on the pitch. If he can do that without pain, then he could perhaps be included in the squad for the game against Hellas Verona.

Today, the Swede trained separately along with Tiemoue Bakayoko and Rade Krunic. Olivier Giroud, meanwhile, has recovered fully and could play from the first minute after the break.
