Carlos Bacca is pushing for a move from AC Milan this summer, but has so far failed in his attempt to re-join Villarreal.
According to today’s edition of La Gazzetta Dello Sport, the negotiations between Milan and Villarreal have hit a stalemate. The distance between demand and offer is way too big, and no club has so far budged on their stance.
It is believed that the Spaniards are willing to offer around €8m for the Colombian, while Milan want at least €15m in return.
Gazzetta adds that in order to bring some life back into the negotiations, Villarreal could bring up the idea of including Samu Castillejo, who’s previously been a target of Milan.
Furthermore, the Rossoneri are in need of a winger, as there’s no natural backup to Hakan Calhanoglu. The arrival of Castillejo would fix this issue, while he could also play on the right-wing of Suso needs rest.
